There's no other place on earth that I might consider as 'haven' other than Thailand, Phuket. Work has been pretty busy and I have recently decided to take couple of months off to discover new places. From all the destinations, Phuket is no doubt one that I enjoy the most. 

Is it the folks? Is it the scenery? Can it be the food? Can it be the weather? I'm not sure. I guess it is a mix of all. 


Almost ten years after the massive deadly tsunami that happened way back in 2006, you can see that while the world has mostly forgotten about it, it's not the case with the people in Phuket. I could observe that most of the natives continue to be traumatic of the catastrophic tragedy. Nonetheless, lives had to go on and that is what happened with all the people there. 

Here are a few pictures that I've captured during my stay at Phuket. I am sure it will offer you a glimpse of the last few remaining heaven in the world.
